Lodi
Church Mission Statement:
We
are caring, inclusive, and resilient congregations that
respond to God’s gracious invitation to a new
and redeemed life by serving God in Christ and sharing
that faith with the community within and outside of
the church. Our churches offer a place to worship,
share fellowship, and experience God’s love.
We respond to God’s calling through prayer and
by nurturing the seeds of faith through Christian education
for children, youth, and adults; outreach to the local
and global community; and faithful stewardship by offering
our talents, time, and monetary support. As we
serve and give back to the community, we seek to attract
involvement from church members and to partner with
the surrounding community.
|
Our
Vision is sharing God’s love by caring through
action and a commitment to inclusiveness. We celebrate
the richness of diversity within our membership and
welcome all who profess their faith in Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior to join us as members and as equal
partners in ministry. Our congregations seek to be advocates
of the poor, the oppressed, and the victims of injustice.
We are striving to become good stewards of the world’s
blessings and resources as well as messengers of reconciliation.
Our desire is to broaden our understanding of the evolution
of the church and how it is emerging today.
