Children's Church

Sunday School News:

In Hector, Sunday school meets midway through the Sunday service beginning around 9:45 till 10:30, and there is no Sunday school during the summer months. Students are continuing with their studies of the New Testament…more specifically, the call of the disciples, and Jesus Ministry here on earth. Discussed were visiting shut-ins in the Spring and “cleaning” nights at the church…for cleaning, washing windows, possible yard-work, etc. Dates will be chosen, possible throughout the summer months.

In Lodi, Sunday school and adult Sunday school are held at 10am to 11am before the weekly church service. Lodi's Sunday school is not active during the summer months.

Vacation Bible School
VBS occurs in August for five days, this summer, we are having a Baobab Blast- God’s Great Get Together!  Come and meet Faye the Zebra, Amy the Monkey, Bud the Elephant, Sam the Meerkat and Jonathan the Giraffe as we sing, play, explore and learn about God’s love TOGETHER!  VBS will be at Hector Presbyterian Church August 8-12, 2011 from 9am to 12pm.  Register using the attached form, or call 546-2134.  Can’t wait to see you there!

Hector
Students will be collecting pennies as part of a mission project. A huge penny jar will be in the back of the sanctuary. We’ll be collecting through May or June or until the collection jar is FULL! Donation will be made to the Food
Pantry in Interlaken or some other worthy community organization of the student’s choice.
